The General Fire Force said its teams have dealt with several rain related incidents in various regions of the country since Wednesday. The Fire Department said that most of the reports were of vehicles stuck on flooded roads. She stated that there were several houses whose basements were exposed to high levels of rain water, and several people were rescued without injuries.
The Meteorological Department reported that the country is witnessing a rainy condition that is expected to continue until midnight on Thursday.
