The Director of the Airport Security General Department at Kuwait International Airport, Brigadier Bader Al-Shaya, has stated that preparations for the upcoming travel season, coinciding with the summer vacation, are currently underway to facilitate departure and arrival procedures. Al-Shaya emphasized that the department is dedicated to addressing any challenges that travelers may encounter during the 105-day summer vacation season, spanning from the start of June until September 15. He mentioned that an estimated total of 5.5 million passengers are expected to travel during this period, with 2.7 million departures and 2.8 million arrivals on 42,000 flights.
