Kuwait's Ambassador to India, Meshal Al-Shamali, declared on Tuesday that there will be a concerted effort to strengthen the existing ties between Kuwait and India, expanding into fresh and diverse areas. This announcement came after his meeting with the Indian Minister of External Affairs, S. Jaishankar, in New Delhi. Ambassador Al-Shamali commended Minister Jaishankar on his appointment as Minister of External Affairs following India's recent parliamentary elections and the establishment of the new government. He emphasized that their discussions encompassed a range of bilateral issues of shared interest and explored avenues to enhance collaboration in economic, political, cultural, and social domains, with a specific emphasis on facilitating reciprocal visits by officials from both nations.
