The camera system of the sixth generation has been activated to capture images of drivers who violate traffic laws near traffic lights and intersections. The General Traffic Department's Operations Unit, as reported by Al-Shahed daily, will be responsible for registering these violations. According to sources, the sixth-generation cameras are able to monitor violations such as not wearing a seat belt and using a mobile phone while driving. Additionally, the Operations Unit is tasked with imposing fines on those who violate traffic laws. Sources have revealed that the Control Unit records approximately 100 traffic violations per hour, including the use of a mobile phone while driving, lack of focus on the road, and failure to wear a seat belt.
