The Ministry of Interior has given the green light to a new amendment for family visas, allowing expatriates without a university degree to bring their wives and children on family visas, as reported by Al Anba daily. According to local Arabic media, Al-Anba, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef has approved an amendment for family visas, granting the right to expatriates without a university degree to bring their wives and children under the age of 14 on family visas, provided that their salary on the work permit is 800 dinars or more. Kuwait had previously required expatriates to have a university degree and a minimum salary of 800 dinars on their work permit to be eligible for family visas, but this amendment has now expanded the eligibility criteria.
