Kuwait witnesses 15% drop in tourist arrivals this summer due to extreme heat

Despite the extreme heat the country is experiencing, the tourism sector is seeing a significant drop in the number of tourists this summer. Local tourism experts and tour operators predict a 15% drop in travel compared to last summer. Experts have pointed out that people are reluctant to travel this summer despite special deals on many destinations and affordable airfares due to inflation and high prices in some European countries. East Asian countries have seen the sharpest decline in ticket sales due to the current hot and humid climate, similar to the Gulf countries.

On the other hand, reliable sources said that some decision-making departments of airlines operating in the country are conducting in-depth research to determine the reasons why people are reluctant to travel, taking into account the availability of attractive deals and special travel packages.
