As part of its ongoing efforts to enforce law and order, the Ministry of Interior conducted a comprehensive security and traffic campaign in the Bneid Al-Qar area on Thursday. The operation involved several departments, including the General Traffic Department, the General Directorate of Rescue Police, the Central General Directorate of Operations, and female police units.
According to the General Department of Public Relations and Security Media, the campaign resulted in the issuance of 474 various traffic violations. Authorities arrested five individuals for violating residency and labor laws, seven wanted in criminal cases, two for driving without a license, and two others for absconding. Additionally, two vehicles wanted by the judiciary were seized, one motorcycle was impounded for a violation, two individuals wanted for criminal enforcement were arrested, and one person was referred to the traffic police.
The Ministry affirmed that such security and traffic campaigns will continue across the country to uphold public safety and the rule of law. Citizens are urged to comply with regulations and report any violations by calling the emergency number 112.
