The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced infrastructure upgrades along Al Tanya Street, a key corridor connecting Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Wasl Road. The project aims to improve traffic flow and enhance pedestrian safety through strategic improvements along this vital transportation route.
Key components of the upgrade include reconstructing the existing roundabout on the service road from Sheikh Zayed Road to Al Tanya Street and installing new traffic signals at the junction between Al Tanya Street and Street 10. These changes are designed to optimize vehicle movement and reduce congestion in the area.
The project will also feature the construction of new sidewalks and additional traffic signals to ensure safer pedestrian movement. These enhancements form part of the RTA's broader initiative to create more comfortable and efficient transportation networks throughout Dubai.
All renovation works are scheduled for completion by the first week of September 2025. The improvements reflect Dubai's ongoing commitment to upgrading urban infrastructure and maintaining high standards of road safety and transportation efficiency for residents and visitors alike.
