Dubai has announced an ambitious new cultural project: a Museum of Art that will be built to float on the historic Dubai Creek. The project was unveiled by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. The museum is envisioned to embody the vibrant spirit and artistic identity of Dubai.
The design of the museum has been entrusted to the world-renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando. Sheikh Mohammed stated that the architectural masterpiece will be designed to enhance the beauty of the creek while reflecting the emirate's dynamism. The project will be realized through a partnership between the government and private sector entities.
This floating cultural center aims to become a new landmark, further cementing Dubai's position on the global art and culture map. By integrating world-class architecture with the iconic Dubai Creek, the museum is poised to create a unique and captivating destination for both residents and international visitors.
