Doha : The Ministry of Interior has referred 111 more people to the Public Prosecution on November 20 for not wearing masks which is mandatory in Qatar. To avoid the spread of the pandemic MOI and health authorities have been continuously warning public to follow the precautionary measures like wearing mask, following social distancing. In a statement, Ministry said "In the implementation of the cabinet decision and law No.17 of 1990 regarding infectious diseases, and the preventive and precautionary measures in place to limit the spread of the Coronavirus. The competent authorities referred 130 people to the Public Prosecution, as they did not comply with wearing masks in place where it is mandatory,"
