Kuwaitis To Vote For Parliamentary Election On Saturday

Kuwait City : Kuwaitis to vote for parliamentary election on Saturday amid strict health measures. The Kuwaitis will vote to elect 50 members of parliament for the sixteenth legislative term from 326 candidates running for the National assembly elections. The voting process will start from 8am and will proceed until 8pm. 71 candidates are competing in the first electoral district with 84822 voters and in second districts 51 candidates are competing. In the third district 70 candidates are competing to win the 101492 voters.  The fourth district has 76 candidates with 150193 voters. 

                       The health precautions during the process includes limited groups gathering outside and inside the polling stations, wearing masks, sterilizing hands and wearing gloves. In order to preserve the health and safety of the voters, medical clinics were designated in each center. To monitor all activities throughout the election, the Kuwait Municipality had formed five field teams and distributed in the five electoral zones.
