Insta Model Arrested For Hot Photoshoot At Pyramids

Cairo : An Egyptian model Salma al-Shimi was arrested for allegedly doing an offensive photoshoot. Salma's photographer Hossam Mohammad was also arrested. Later both of them were released on bail. Salma posted an image wearing an ancient Egyptian white colored dress. She was charged for taking photos without authorization at an archeological site. The  model did the photoshoot at 4700 year-old Step Pyramid of Djoser at Cairo's outskirts. Reportedly the photoshoot lasted for 15 minutes. Salma has got more than 115K followers on Instagram  and her pictures from the photoshoot were posted on her Instagram page. The Egyptian media has denounced her pictures as offensive and provocative. In response to this, she added that she was aiming to promote tourism but never intended to offend Egyptian culture. Also she stated that she was unaware of the rules.
