MINISTER SUPERVISES OPERATION TO RESCUE 21 PEOPLE TO SAFETY

Minister of Interior Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali Al-Sabah has been at the helm of the operation to rescue 21 people who were stranded on a malfunctioning boat. The minister had handled the matter smoothly by giving proper instructions to the maritime patrol units and other forces working on this operation. The rise of eaves and the unstable condition in the sea had made the operation complicated. 

The boat was found safe and all the 21 occupants were rescued. After giving medical treatment, all were safely escorted back to their homes. The minister thanked all the people including the ministers of Defence, Foreign Affairs and State for Cabinet Affairs, and others who had worked for the successful completion of this operation.
