KUWAIT MOBILE ID APP STANDS FOR DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

Kuwait City : The Public Authority for Civil Information reported that The "Kuwait Mobile ID” app which was a transformative step towards e-governance has reached a user base of 1.65 million, including citizens and immigrants. 


The authority has credited the success of the app to the cabinet's decision to support the use of this app instead of the Civil Id for transactions. They also hope to completely replace the civil ID with the  “Kuwait Mobile ID” app in the coming years. Public Authority for Civil Information stated that those who wish to obtain civil IDs can visit from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm during the month of Ramadan, and on normal days, the issuance process will continue until 6:00 pm
