DGCA EASED COVID- 19 QUARANTINE RESTRICTIONS ON VACCINATED KUWAITIS

Kuwait City: The Directorate General ofCivil Aviation reported, as of Saturday, May 22, those who have been vaccinatedfor COVID-19 or those who have recovered from the same need not be placed underquarantine.

Passengers who have taken their first dosetwo weeks before coming to the country, or those whose recovery from the virushave not exceeded 90 days are exempted from quarantine.

 Moreover, all passengers are required toproduce before the authorities PCR test negative certificates. These should beno older than 72 hours from the flight time. The passengers should also pay forone PCR test through the “Kuwaitmosafer” platform before boarding the plane.

 The passenger will be in quarantine buthe/she must carry out a PCR test within three days from the arrival date andcan leave quarantine if the test comes back negative. And non-Kuwaitis werestill banned from entering Kuwait until further notice.
