KuwaitCity: The enforcement of the ban on working in exposed areas during noon hoursstarting June first until the end of August in compliance with decision535/2015 was announced on Sunday by Kuwait Public Authority for Manpower (PAM).
The Director-General of (PAM) Ahmad Al-Mousa said in thepress release said that the inspection teams would follow up with theimplementation of the decision during the next three months in the country.
The authorities stated that there will be surpriseinspections and violators will be liable to strict legal action for breach ofguidelines. These directives were in the interest of the workers to protectthem from the extreme heat during the summer months.
Ahmad Al-Mousa stressed that companies are committed toguaranteeing the health and safety of their workers, as well as complying withthe labor law and decisions regulating it issued by the Government.
