Kuwait City: The Ministry of Health (MoH)is planning to vaccinate children between the age of 12 to 15 years old with Pfizer vaccine against the COVID-19 virus. This step has been taken by the ministry to develop herd immunity in Kuwait before the start of school in September this year.
The sources within the ministry have revealed that as the vaccination process has been accelerated, the ministry has requested more quantities of vaccines to meet the requirements. An estimated 200,000 children are expected to receive the vaccination.

13 years old: 55,735 (32,520 Kuwaitis and 23,315 non-Kuwaitis)
14 years old: 53,566 (31,705 Kuwaitis and 21,861 non-Kuwaitis)
15 years old: 51705 (31,042 Kuwaitis and 20,663 non-Kuwaitis)
