STUDY TO ALLOW THE RETURN OF THE IMMIGRANTS WITH "QUOTA" SYSTEM' UNDERWAY

  • 06/06/2021

Kuwait City: The government is considering proposals regarding imposing a 'quota' system for immigrants to enter Kuwait in limited numbers under certain conditions. The considerations include allowing entry to those who have received 2 doses of any of the approved vaccines. Moreover, a PCR test will be conducted within 3 days, and they will be subjected to quarantine if the test is positive.

Those who had received one dose of any of the approved vaccine will have to go for institutional quarantine for a week, and home quarantine for another week. And Those who are not vaccinated will not be allowed to enter Kuwait.

Nonetheless, a final decision on this is not yet taken by the authorities.
