IMMIGRANTS' RESIDENCE TO BE LINKED WITH VACCINATION DOSES; ISSUING OF NEW VISAS NOT SO SOON

Kuwait City: The sources within the Residency Affairs has reported that it was too early a time to discuss issuing of new work permits or opening of all kinds of visit visas. Only those having a valid residence and are also vaccinated will be allowed entry into Kuwait from August 1, the sources revealed. 
Opening of visit visas or granting new work visas is currently issued in coordination and approval of the Ministerial Committee and the Residency Affairs to implement any instructions received. The sources further stated that immigrants who have received both doses of vaccine will be linked to the renewal of residence under the national vaccination program.
