HEALTH MINISTRY INFORMED THAT COVID VACCINATION IS GIVEN ON THE BASIS OF PRIORITY LIST

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Health said that vaccination in the country is based on priority list. Priority lists have been compiled to include those at risk or in critical cases, and the vaccination campaign is continuing for targeted groups, officials said. The Ministry of Health has set up more than 20 mobile units to provide vaccination to employees in their workplaces. As part of field vaccination, banks are concentrating on vaccinating their employees Health officials said that strict procedures are being followed to provide vaccinations.


The appointment book on the vaccination portal will be active only if the institutions submit their names and information to the Ministry of Health in advance.. The vaccine will only be given if the Civil ID is scanned on the health department's app and the booking is confirmed.

Meanwhile, vaccinations for domestic workers began at the vaccination center at Mishrif Fair Ground. The center has set up a system to vaccinate 43,000 people daily, officials said. Officials had earlier said that vaccination for students above 12 years of age would start from August. Under the current circumstances, health officials expect that most people in the country will be vaccinated by September.
