INDEPENDENCE DAY WEEKEND IN THE US WITNESSED 233 DEATHS IN 500 SHOOTINGS

According to the latest data compiled by the Gun Violence Archive, an estimates 233 people succumbed to death and around 618 people were injured in more than 500 shootings during the Independence Day weekend in the US.

Meanwhile, in the same period in 2020, the figures stood at 314 people dead and 751 injured. The organisation have commented that these numbers may increase.
