MISS WORLD PHILIPPINES 2021 POSTPONED

The Miss World Philippines 2021 crowning celebration night has been deferred to August 8, after the public authority put Metro Manila under general community quarantine (GCQ) "with limitations" from July 23 to 31. Coordinators declared the rescheduling on their Facebook page on Friday, July 23. The royal celebration night was initially set for July 11, concurring with the Binibining Pilipinas exhibition. It was moved to July 25, preceding its latest reschedule. It will be organized at Okada Manila. 

The event will see 45 up-and-comers seek 8 crowns: Miss World Philippines, Miss Supranational Philippines, Miss Eco Philippines, Miss Eco Teen Philippines, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas, Miss Multinational Philippines, Miss Philippines Tourism, and Miss Environment International Philippines. Beside Metro Manila, Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte have additionally been set under more tight isolate limitations because of a spike in COVID-19 cases around there
