US AIRSTRIKES AGAINST TALIBAN IN AFGHANISTAN

The US has said that it carried out airstrikes across Afghanistan in the last several days to support the Afghan security forces fighting the Taliban. "I won't get into tactical details of those strikes," Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby told reporters on Thursday. This comes as US troops are withdrawing from the country after nearly 20 years.
At least five Taliban terrorists were killed in airstrikes carried out in several provinces in Afghanistan over the past three days, according to local media.
