LOCKDOWN EXTENDED IN SYDNEY

Australia's biggest city Sydney will stay in lockdown for one more month. The New South Wales state government reported that the lockdown of the city of 5 million would last essentially until Aug. 28, in the wake of giving an account of Wednesday 177 new contaminations in the most recent 24-hour time frame. It was the biggest day by day count since the group was found in mid-June. In excess of 2,500 individuals have been contaminated in a cluster that started when a limousine driver tried positive on June 16 to the infectious delta variation.
