PACI AUTHORITIES INCREASED NUMBER OF AUTOMATIC VENDING MACHINES

Kuwait City: Officials said the number of Civil ID card automatic vending machines at PACI headquarters has been increased. With the installation of new automatic vending machines, the total number of machines has increased to 80. The capacity of each machine is 5,000 cards. With this, four lakh cards can be distributed through kiosks, officials said.


Meanwhile, officials said they have developed smart devices that can read automatic barcodes on the phone for those who have lost their card and are applying to change their address. With this, locals and foreigners will not have to visit the PACI office for such purposes. Tens of thousands of civil ID cards, including those of locals and foreigners, are stored in civil ID kiosks. With the advent of new vending machines, it is hoped that the crisis of not being able to deposit new ID cards will be resolved.
