Kuwait City: Panadol drug shortage worsens as country plunges into Covid crisis Panadol is a medicine that is given for fever, colds, headaches and muscle aches. Most of the pharmacies in the private sector are facing shortage of Panadol.


Panadol is prescribed by doctors for fever and other side effects of the vaccine. Thus, as the vaccination process in the country progressed rapidly, the demand for Panadol also increased. Vaccination rates are above one lakh per day, which is estimated to have exacerbated the shortage.
