EMIRATES OFFERS TRAVEL VISAS AND ENTRY PERMITS TO DUBAI FROM RESTRICTED COUNTRIES

Dubai: Emirates allows visitors to Dubai with visiting visa and entry permit from countries restricted to the UAE. Emirates shared the information on Twitter. Emirates made the announcement in response to a customer question. Holders of entry permits can travel from Pakistan to Dubai. Emirates said in a tweet that they do not need GDRFA approval.


According to the latest updates, holders of newly issued visit visas can travel to Dubai without GDRFA, ICA (Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship) approval. In another reply, Emirates clarified that those with a tourist visa can also travel to Dubai. They were required to submit a PCR negative within 48 hours of boarding the flight and a Rapid PCR negative within six hours. "All of this information will be updated on Emirates' website soon," he said on Twitter.

The UAE Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) announced on Saturday that they would accept applications for tourist visas for people who have completed vaccination from all countries from August 30.

The UAE has started issuing tourist visas to travelers who have received two doses of the vaccine from countries including India. Tourist visas are issued to those who have been fully immunized using one of the covid-19 vaccines approved by the World Health Organization.
