CORONA RECOVERY INDEX, KUWAIT LAGS BEHIND NEW ZEALAND AND SWITZERLAND

Kuwait City: Nike covid improved 23 places in the 19 Recovery Index. Kuwait, which was ranked 49th out of 121 countries, moved up 23 places to 26th.


Countries are judged on the basis of their ability to cope with epidemics, vaccination campaigns, and co-controls. Kuwait scored 60 points. 

According to the list, Kuwait performed better than Norway, New Zealand and Switzerland. Bahrain ranks second among Arab countries. The UAE is fourth and Saudi Arabia is fifth. Malta and Chile top the list. The worst performing countries were the Philippines, Laos, Gabon, Vietnam and Barbados.
