ERRORS IN VACCINATION CERTIFICATE, PASSENGERS FACING CRISIS

Kuwait City: Passengers are reportedly facing a crisis due to errors in the vaccination certificate. Those traveling abroad find it very difficult because the information in the passport and civil ID and the information in the vaccination certificate do not match. The airline yesterday denied travel permits to a number of passengers traveling to Europe and the UK due to differences in their Latin names.


Passengers who left for London yesterday were unable to travel due to various issues with the certificate. Passengers said that late booking due to early booking of air ticket, hotel, PCR and taxi would result in huge financial loss. The current crisis is due to the lack of a system at the airport to correct errors in the database of the Home Ministry and the Civil Information for Public Authority. Currently, Mishref has to go to the vaccination center for correction of the certificate.
