AMIR ACCEPTS THE RESIGINATION OF KUWAIT'S CABINET

Kuwait City: The resignation of Kuwait's cabinet has been accepted by Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Sheikh Sabah Khalid al-Hamad al-Sabah, Prime Minister, resigned yesterday as part of a cabinet reshuffle.


Emir Sheikh Nawaf has directed that the government serve as caretaker until a new cabinet is formed. As part of this, the government resigned in order to get rid of disgruntled ministers and include more members of parliament in the cabinet.
