NO COVID DEATH IN LAST TWO WEEKS IN KUWAIT, TOTAL ACTIVE CASE IS 277

Kuwait City: As the number of Covid cases in the country continues to decline, no Covid deaths have been reported in Kuwait in the last two weeks.


The Ministry of Health announced 26 new cases on Monday, November 15th, bringing the total number of active cases in the country to only 277. On November 1st, the country's last Covid death was reported. So far, a total of 2,462 people have died.

According to Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, 18 cases of recovery have also been recorded, bringing the total number of people recovered to 410,295, indicating that the percentage of total recovery cases out of total injuries is 99.34%. 

He stated that the number of people receiving medical care in intensive care units reached three, while the total number of cases confirmed to be infected and still receiving necessary care reached 277, and the total number of cases in (Covid 19) wards reached twelve.

He went on to say that the number of swabs taken in the last 24 hours was 20,616, bringing the total number of tests to 5082,627, indicating a 0.13 percent infection rate based on the number of smears taken.
