6,000 NATIVES REGISTERED FOR EMPLOYMENT IN TWO WEEKS IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: More than 6,000 Kuwaitis have registered for work in two weeks, according to the Civil Service Commission. The figures are from October 22 to November 5. The Civil Service Commission had set up a special system to register Kuwaitis who wanted to work in government institutions. Officials said the applications received so far are being classified by the Civil Service Commission.


Applications are categorized according to the needs of various government departments and the qualifications of the applicants and the needs of the institutions. The Civil Service Commission said applicants will begin receiving messages early next week with the names of the institutions from which they have been nominated.
