154 MINORS ARRESTED FOR DRIVING WITHOUT LICENSE IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The traffic campaign, which ran from the 13th to the 19th of this month, resulted in the arrest of 154 juveniles for driving without a driver's licence.


The campaigns also resulted in the issuance of 23,552 traffic tickets and the referral of 149 vehicles to the detention garage. On the basis of committing serious violations, 62 violators were referred to the traffic police. 

Previously, authorities reported that 1,808 juveniles, including teenagers aged 13 to 16, had been arrested for driving without a licence in the previous ten months.

According to authorities, the increase in the number of juveniles driving on the road is a serious concern.
