KUWAIT HAS HAD 38 GOVERNMENTS IN 59 YEARS, WITH AN AVERAGE TERM OF ONE AND HALF YEARS

Kuwait City: There have been 38 governments in Kuwait in 59 years. Statistics show that the average term of government in the country is one and a half years. The first government was formed in 1962 under the leadership of Emir Sheikh Abdullah Al Salim Al Sabah. Later Sheikh Sabah al-Saleem formed three governments. Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah, who formed 11 governments, is leading the charge. 


During the reign of Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad, the average term of government was two and a half years. By the time of Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah, it was two years. The government of Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed was three years old. However, the average term of Sheikh Nasser al-Muhammad's government was only six months. The term of the governments formed by Sheikh Sabah Al Khalid was seven months.
