KUWAIT DOES NOT HAVE DIRECT FLIGHTS TO COUNTRIES WHERE NEW COVID VARIANTS HAVE DISCOVERED IN AFRICA

Kuwait City: The General Administration of Civil Aviation has not yet made any decisions regarding travel to countries where the new covid variant has been discovered, aviation sources said. The Ministry of Health has not notified Civil Aviation of any such decision. However, Kuwait does not operate direct flights to any South African country except Ethiopia. 


Various countries in the region and around the world have banned flights to seven countries in the wake of the discovery of the new covid variant. Flights to South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Lesotho and Izvatini are banned.
