23,733 PEOPLE WERE DEPORTED IN KUWAIT DUE TO DISEASES INCLUDING AIDS

Kuwait City: A total of 23,733 expatriates have been deported over the past 10 years due to illnesses including AIDS, according to official figures. The figures are from 2010 to 2019. Of these, 2,111 have been deported since being diagnosed with AIDS. 


That is, 211 expatriates are deported each year due to AIDS. In addition, people with diseases such as malaria, filariasis, tuberculosis, hepatitis B and C have been deported. With the exception of AIDS, 21,622 people were deported for other illnesses.
