An Indian man has come back to life after doctors pronounced him dead and was kept in a hospital mortuary freezer for more than seven hours, leaving doctors in a great deal of confusion.Doctors announced the death of the 40-year-old man, Srekesh Kumar, in a hospital in the Indian capital, New Delhi, after he was hit by a speeding motorbike, after which he was placed in the mortuary pending an autopsy, according to the Indian newspaper “timesofindia”.The hospital's medical director, Rajendra Kumar, told AFP that "the emergency doctor examined him, and no trace of life was found, and therefore he was pronounced dead."The hospital director added: "When a team of the police and his family came to start the administrative procedures for the autopsy, it turned out that he was still alive."The man was immediately taken to a medical facility in Meerut, where he has not yet regained consciousness but doctors have stated that he is not in a serious condition.
