GOLAN : The Zionist entity's government approved a $317 million plan yesterday to double the Zionist settler population in the Golan Heights, 40 years after annexing the territory captured from Syria. During a meeting at the Mevo Hama community in the Golan, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's cabinet voted in favour of the plan, which aims to build 7,300 settler homes in the region over a five-year period.

It proposes spending one billion shekels on housing, infrastructure, and other projects in order to attract approximately 23,000 new Zionist settlers to the area seized during the 1967 Six Day War. "Our goal today is to double the population of the Golan Heights," Bennett, the rightwing, stated ahead of the meeting.
