A crowd of women marched through Kabul, demanding that women's rights be respected and accusing Taliban authorities of covertly killing soldiers serving the former US-backed government. An AFP correspondent reported that about 30 women gathered near a mosque in Kabul's centre on Tuesday and marched a few hundred metres chanting "justice, justice" before being stopped by Taliban forces.According to social media invitations for the march, the Taliban also attempted to prevent journalists from covering the march, which was organised in response to "mysterious murders of young people, particularly the country's former soldiers."Taliban fighters briefly detained a group of journalists and confiscated some photographers' equipment, deleting images from their cameras before returning them.
