Kuwait has been named the worst expat destination for the seventh time in the last eight years

KUWAIT : Kuwait expressed strong dissatisfaction with a Euronews report about expats working in Kuwait with long working hours, and those looking for work-life balance should avoid working in Kuwait and Japan, according to Al Anba.

In its report on the Best and Worst Places for Expats 2021, 59 countries around the world are listed for measuring expat satisfaction in the countries where they work outside their home country.


Kuwait is ranked last in the Expat Insider survey for the seventh time in eight years (59th out of 59 countries).
The country ranks last in the Quality of Life Index (59th), with particularly poor results in the subcategories Leisure Options, Personal Happiness, and Travel & Transportation (59th for all).
