The Cabinet reaffirms its pandemic strategy – masks and three-shot vaccinations

KUWAIT : Minister of Health Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed briefed the Cabinet on the national health situation, presenting statistics on coronavirus cases as well as precautions against the new strain of the virus, omicron.

In this regard, the Cabinet urged citizens and expatriates to take health precautions such as wearing protective masks and receiving the three-shot vaccination.

The newly formed Kuwaiti Cabinet met for the first time on Wednesday at Seif Palace, and the session was marked by the prime minister's pledge to work with the parliament.

The newly formed government met shortly after His Highness the Prime Minister and members of his cabinet were sworn in in front of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at Bayan Palace.
