DECISION TO CLOSE ALL MOURNING HALLS IN CEMETERIES FROM JANUARY 9 UNTILL FEBRUVARY 28 IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Council of Ministers' decision to suspend festivities and weddings beginning next Sunday. The Municipality's Director General, Eng. Ahmed Al-Manfouhi, has decided to close all mourning rooms in cemeteries from Sunday, January 9, to Monday, February 28. 


According to the decision of the Council of Ministers, it was decided to stop holding social events of all kinds, which are held in closed places, as of next Sunday, January 9, until Monday, February 28, 2022. These events include (temporary wedding tents, weddings hotels). 

He urged all shops with all of their activities permitted to open to continue adhering to the health conditions and non-gathering controls outlined in the cabinet decision and the Ministry of Public Health's decisions, emphasising that anyone who violates this will face legal accountability and the application of the penalties outlined in the laws, regulations, and decisions governing this.
