INTENSIFYING INSPECTION CAMPAIGNS AT INSTITUTIONS TO GUARANTEE WORKPLACE SAFETY AND HEALTH PROTOCOLS ARE FOLLOWED IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: National Center for Occupational Safety is focusing on increasing inspection tours of institutions and businesses to see how well they comply with occupational safety regulations, as well as adhering to the preventive measures approved by health authorities in response to an increase in the number of infected cases. 


The sources indicated that the tours will be throughout the day, morning and evening, and include all regions and governorates. The sources called on business owners to abide by the requirements so as not to be subject to legal accountability. 

Regarding the procedures for dealing with non-compliants, the sources explained that a notice of violation will be issued for the first time, and in the event that the violation continues during the re-inspection, a violation will be recorded and submitted to the relevant authorities of the authority to take legal measures.
