Kuwait City: The Kuwait Municipality began intensive field tours for the teams of the health requirements committees in the six governorates on Wednesday, coinciding with the Council of Ministers' recommendations to adhere to health requirements so that indicators of the epidemiological situation of the Corona virus remain within the scope of control.

In a press statement, the head of the Hawally Emergency Team, Ibrahim Al-Sabaan, stated that the emergency team, in collaboration with the Salmiya leadership and in the presence of Hawalli Security Director Major General Abdullah Al-Ali, conducted field tours to ensure the extent to which shops and malls comply with Council of Ministers decisions and the application of health requirements. According to Al-Sabaan, four violation reports were issued, as well as 52 cautions for noncompliance with health criteria. According to Abdullah Jaber, the head of the Violations Removal Department in the Capital Municipality, field teams in several governorates have begun conducting rigorous tours to ensure the extent to which community members adhere to health criteria in order to minimise the spread of disease.

Jaber explained that the field tours will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week in various malls and markets, with fixed teams in a number of big commercial complexes and Souk Mubarakiya, as well as mobile teams in random visits at parallel marketplaces and retail establishments. He stated that the teams will audit the extent to which shops, complexes, and parallel markets comply with previous health requirements, such as not allowing non-vaccinated people to enter the complexes, measuring temperatures, wearing masks, implementing physical separation, and determining the number of people allowed to enter establishments.
