COMPLAINTS FROM DOMESTIC WORKERS AGAINST 278 SPONSORS IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The Public Authority for Manpower reported the filing of 278 complaints by domestic employees against their employers, as well as the settlement of 201 grievances amicably.


According to the statistics released by the Domestic Labor Recruitment Department for the month of December, the licencing of an office was suspended, and 278 violations were recorded, noting that 19 complaints under the name "Leaving work" were referred to the judiciary, and business owners were required to hand over 46 workers' passports after investigating complaints and introducing them to them.

It stated that it got 40,000 dinars for the advantage of employers and around 9,000 dinars for the benefit of employees.
