KUWAIT'S HEALTH MINISTER TESTED POSITIVE FOR CORONAVIRUS

Kuwait City: According to the Kuwait Ministry of Health, Dr. Khaled Al Saeed was infected with coronavirus after his swab confirmed positive this morning. According to Health Ministry regulations, Minister Dr. Saeed will be quarantined at home and will continue his duties remotely.


Meanwhile, Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, presided over a meeting of the COVID-19 Ministerial Emergency Committee on Thursday. The discussion, held in Seif Palace, focused on the most recent reports from health officials on COVID-19 instances in the country. It also examined the troubling spread of the COVID-19 form, Omicron, on a global scale.
