Kuwait City: According to a Kuwaiti health official, attempts to stop the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) were successful thanks to cooperation among GCC nations. National pandemic indicators showed that the fourth wave of the coronavirus was subsiding, according to Health Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, who attributed this success to national staff's efforts as well as their cooperation with fellow medical personnel in the Gulf Cooperation Council.

When it comes to the pandemic, Al-Sanad said the ministry had always seen "the light at the end of the dark tunnel," and that the MoH and its Gulf partners worked hard to protect society from the threat of coronavirus. He confirmed that the GCC medical community will continue to work together in the near future to address any issues that the region's people face, emphasising that Kuwait's and the Gulf region's medical sectors had demonstrated their usefulness throughout the pandemic.
