Kuwait City: The Directorate-General of Civil Aviation has lifted travel restrictions in the face of waning fears of COVID-19 infections and the country taking necessary health measures by vaccinating a large number of citizens and residents. The concerned authorities at the airport are preparing to organise summer flights beginning next May, the first in nearly two years. This year's summer flight schedules are unusual because airlines are eager to fly to new travel locations connecting Kuwait to the rest of the world, resulting in a major increase in travel, especially because the Eid Al-Fitr celebration falls during the summer vacation.
