GETTING READY FOR IFTAR , KUWAITI GENEROSITY AMPLIFIED DURING RAMADAN

Kuwait City: Ramadan has traditionally been a time for individuals to do more good deeds, and assisting those who are less fortunate in breaking their fast is a noble act to perform during the Holy Month.


It was usual to witness rows of expatriate employees waiting up to obtain Iftar meals from food trucks stationed near cooperative societies or event halls prior to the Maghreb (evening) prayers. The food distribution is streamlined, with meals offered for free in keeping with the gracious spirit of Ramadan.
