A NEW MECHANISM IS BEING DEVELOPED TO COMBAT "FORGERY"

Kuwait City: Badr Al-Humaidi, Abdullah Al-Turaiji, Osama Al-Menawer, Badr Al-Mullah, and Mehalhal Al-Mudhaf, MPs, have proposed a bill to establish a central system for citizenship affairs under the Ministry of Interior, to prevent fraud and manipulation of naturalisation petitions. Citizenship applications will be received and assessed by the proposed body. 


MP Badr Al- Mullah, on the other hand, questioned Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Dr Ahmad Nasser Al-Muhammad on the suspension of signing contracts with insurance firms to provide workers with health insurance. He demanded copies of all health insurance contracts signed by the ministry in the previous five years. He wants to know how much money has been paid to these insurance companies, as well as the cost of workers' abroad treatment since the health insurance contracts have been cancelled.
